Pre-K Artists investigated the colors, shapes, lines, and critters we see in a garden by reading Kim Parker’s book, “Counting in the Garden”. Artists learned about wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry watercolor painting techniques. They used a checklist to self-assess their artwork. Once they had completed three watercolor paintings, they chose their favorite one to display and present to their class based on their checklist.
