Inspired by my original childrens book, Rainbow City—about a vibrant, loving city that faces conflict and finds harmony again through compassion—Pre-K students created their own imaginative rainbow cities. They practiced stacking and layering geometric shapes to build colorful cityscapes, and crafted pipe cleaner rainbows to accompany their work. This project combined storytelling, social-emotional learning, and foundational art skills, encouraging creativity, empathy, and design.
